Just a straight-up vent: Anyone who is considering grad school right now with the goal of getting into higher education needs to think through it very carefully. I’ve been out almost four years. I’ve published well, I’ve been in good journals, I have a book in print, I get cited, and I even got invited to Europe…

That is terrible... I’m so so sorry. :( You did everything right, though. As a parent, you can’t always keep tabs on kids every single second, especially other people’s kids who may not be taught how to be gentle with animals. You 100% have the right to feel angry and sad, though. *hugs*

Guys, I’m so fucking sad and angry. On Thursday afternoon my 5 y/o daughter’s friend picked up my bunny and “hugged” her.

We had to euthanize my poor, sweet Mocha who has been with me for 7 years. The kid crushed her chest causing internal bleeding, a broken rib, and severe shock.

I’m not sure what you are talking about but it really doesn’t matter. Considering that many twitter users include POTUS, senators, reporters, news outlets, individuals, etc...., then twitter users can certainly be sources of information for anything.
