Ah, thank you for correcting that for me. I wasn’t aware of the exact arrangement of some of the key staff members.

Yeah, it’s weird how the name Rare is still bandied around like it’s a great thing, when all the staff that made the company great have left. It’s like when you see a film announced and they advertise that it’s “from the studio that brought you _____”. Not the director, the actors, or even the producer... just

Sony’s response is basically their streaming service. Unfortunately it’s far too expensive for the average user... the best they can do is announce a major price drop for streaming.

I can appreciate a “Go big or go home” attitude when it comes to something like this.

Oh it’s not full compatibility. They stated that at launch it will be able to handle approximately 100 specific games.

That’s pretty cool I’m glad to see that Amiiboes aren’t going to be limited to simply being statues of figures on little pedestals. We could potentially see a lot of really fun and clever takes on the Amiibo concept in the future.

The thing is an inkling character would be an entirely new character built from the ground up. Roy is a clone of Marth, whose already had an appearance in Smash Bros., so there’s plenty of existing assets and balance data for them to use. They could probably release 4 clone characters with the amount of time and

The two of them have such a textbook abusive relationship, and most good writers seem to address it from that angle. It’s still weird for me to see how many couples compare themselves to Harley and The Joker. I actually have a pair of close friends who got married on Halloween and went to the reception in costume as

I was gonna call out this article for focusing on the sex aspect when, for most of the video, all it came down to was a few off-hand comments between the two of them early in the fight. Like... just barely enough to establish that the two are in an intimate relationship. But that ending where they get down and dirty

I love Jack Kirby, don’t get me wrong... but a lot of his armor designs just look super goofy by modern standards.

Actually what I think would be funny now is if the character is made extra androgynous and everyone always uses gender neutral pronouns when referring to them...

Ah, thank you for clarifying

So wait... not only did this guy piss away three times his asking price to get this product out, but the other people, without that financial boost, were able to successfully produce and market the game on their own once they got the rights back? Wow... that is just too much.

I’m glad that the two modes perform so very differently. There’s quite a few weapons that feel useless in Turf Wars that absolutely kill it in Ranked matches.

Stuff like this is a very measured plan to keep interest in the game going steady. It’s actually very ambitious for them to commit to a series of regular updates... Decisions like this are designed to keep interest in the game over a long period of time. It’s not super honest... they’re basically holding back content

Oh hey I think I recognize this from one of the single player levels.

I think it stands out because, compared to most mainstream media Skyward Sword had what feels like the absolute minimum “romance” possible to still comfortably state that it was intended as a romantic relationship, but it’s still tons more than you get in pretty much any other Zelda game.

Link’s always been such a player-insert character that I don’t see why they need him to be male in a given game. Skyward Sword hinted at a romantic relationship between him and Zelda, but on average there’s really nothing “gendered” about the character in the first place. I believe there was an interview with Aonuma

I’ve never heard that theory before, but now it’s totally in my headcanon

Oh snap, playable Tetra!
