I'm in a facebook group where we bs about the various Bachelor shows (mostly so everyone else doesn't unfriend us for posting it publicly) and I was amazed at how many people in that group hated her. It mostly seemed to be because she's intelligent and didn't dumb herself down, which I thought was awesome and they

They don't want to admit this is a form of entertainment they enjoy. If it's not your thing you can't be bothered. You watch because you enjoy it. I can't imagine watching a show I hate, or watching a person I can't stand. It's illogical.

Wait...if I live/work in a city and I want to date someone who lives/works in that same city...it's unrealistic?

Lives near me, likes the things I like, is down with my kids? Most of that just sounds like...having standards to me. Not hostile and unreasonable standards. Just...standards.

Not the same thing, dude. The difference is that these women are not your type, but they are not asking or demanding anything of you, personally. If you look at their profile and don't like what you see, move along. That's literally how online dating works. And honestly, that last thing on your list really reeks of

You didn't get it, did you?

Can you please explain why you have a problem with women who want things that aren't you? Like, how does it personally impact you that a woman wants someone richer than you? I just don't get why people spend their time or energy being irritated that someone isn't looking for someone like you. That would be like me

"But I'm just being HONEST!"

The Unrealistic Demander: possible gold digger, or wants someone who shares her socioeconomic status (big predictor for successful relationship)

So, the worst thing women do to you on online dating sites are being boring and not wanting to date you? That must be really, really nice.

Heh, I know guys like that. One friend of mine would inform women on the first date that he wanted to get engaged, have her move in with him, get married and have kids as soon as possible. Then he wondered why he never got second dates.

Thanks for the addition:

Oh, lawd, woman.

Like why are we even talking about hip-hop, she does pop-rap?

i finally understood how it is - it is not that she lacks understanding, she lacks empathy .

Nope. If Taylor Swift had said that, my reaction would still have been "Get over yourself, halfwit."

I seriously doubt you understand any of the issues surrounding Igloo. But, you can ask Nicky Minaj if she feels any kinship with Igloo's plight as a "rap-loving girl." See what Nicky says. lol

So are people going to finally stop talking to her? She's aware of her white privilege and she doesn't care about black people. At all. I know I've done my fair share of talking shit about her but I'm done now. You can't force everyone to understand something.

I just hate her so much that all I can see when I read her words is "I'm an idiot and a racist and I don't care."

She is like the musical version of genital herpes. Painful and — apparently — impossible to get rid of.
