Wait... you mean I can be a modern day Mata Hari?! Yes please! (Just kidding. I don't want to go to prison and/or be shot by a firing squad.)
Yes, I've seen those here in VA too. But we also have the Planned Parenthood ones that say "Trust Women, Respect Choice" on them, so I guess it's at least fair that we have both options.
I live in VA, and a few months ago, I swear I saw a license plate that said STRAP ON. I took a picture with my phone and had a good laugh. (I want to post it, but I'm not sure if that would be allowed?)
Agreed x2. The YAAHOOO nearly made me fall out of my chair, I was so jump-startled.
This. Is. Awesome!!!
I'm on it! (I'll post updates.)
As another has already pointed out, in India one does not need to, nor are the expected to "cover themselves from head to toe." Sarees and salwar kameez are fairly common, along with western styles. Perhaps you have India confused with certain predominately Muslim countries that expect women to completely cover…
Gah! I'm so sorry. =/ Definitely sounds like a very unpleasant experience. I have Paragard (copper IUD) and I love it. I wanted (and needed) a birth control method without hormones because I tend to have bad reactions to them. Paragard has been great so far, though I still get my period every month. I envy you…
Yes! I've noticed that tenancy too. I actually considered the cup at one point until I read a warning that stated there was a risk that my IUD could become dislodged. Even though some girls on one board I was on tried to convince me that it was "probably still okay" to use one, I thought, no thank you to that. …
Omg... Completely lost it at the "shake that" break down. I'm actually still cracking up. Thank you for making my crappy day so much better. <3
Well, it might just be the two of us, but I'm with you on that. The long, thin holder has some appeal, I have to say.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you, too, kitten. But just for your own health, always remember to use a condom, even if you're using another method of birth control. There's some really scary diseases out there, and it really is better to be safe than sorry.
I have to agree with you that ultimately the child is going to decide what he/she likes. Yet I do think it's important to try to introduce children to "educational" toys and amusements because you never know what might really fascinate them.
I'm sick over it, too. I just hope that this way of thinking will change, because it's wrong and it hurts all of us.
As others have pointed out, Jezebel has covered this pretty consistently. Here's an even more recent article: http://jezebel.com/5971772/india-wants-to-publicly-shame-convicted-rapists
I hear you, because I've worked as a dancer once upon a time. And yet, somehow, I find myself not terribly concerned. Go ahead and let them say I'm a prostitute. Big effing whoop-dee-doo. What's going to happen? It's obvious that the site is anything but credible, so only the most brain-dead would actually take…
I was trying to find my daughter a huge "tub o' Legos" like I had when I was a little girl, but I was so perplexed when I went down the Lego aisle. Everything was some sort of Lego kit, and I raised an eyebrow when I saw pink(!) Legos. I must be reeeeeeeally old, because back when I was little, Legos were one of…
I actually laughed out loud, and I hardly ever do that from teh interwebs. Thank you!
