Here is the deal with the price. He can’t sell this in CA- so it needs to be sold online. His price is below market for CA, but since the car hasn’t been registered in 4 years the DMV in state would want at least another 1k to register it. This car only has to meet 1983 smog standards for CA- not current ones, which

I just bought a Volt after looking at the competiors, that would be PLUG IN HYBRIDS. I looked at the Prius, which was actually 1500 more than the Volt after incentives 7500 + 1500 (Here in CA), The I3RE which was about 10k more after incentives, The Accord, which was 5k more after incentives and the fords CMAX

Technically the Volt is a hatch.

Two weeks ago. I bought a 2015 Volt from a dealer that sells a ton of them here in CA. On the first commute (I bought it for the carpool sticker and my company offers free charging). It dies on me on the freeway and wont switch from electric to gas. The whole cabin fills with what can only be described as electrical

I want one. please Build this concept.

My God. I would trade my 13 JKU in a minute. If they made it for around 50k they would sell these things faster than they could build them.

Jeeps are owned by people who are constantly modding their vehicles. I was rear ended in my 13 JK, bumper crumpled. Took the guys info, went on Craigslist- got a perfect stock bumper for 10 bucks- called the guy and he was so stoked he gave me 50 bucks, never reported to insurance. His Chevy truck probably needed a

PA incentives are very similar to those in CA , 2k from state and the prorated 7500 from Feds, maybe it really is a training and marketing issue- If I was in PA and someone told me i could get a volt for 25k and spend virtually no money on gas ever, I would jump on it.

The Commenters are missing the point. Where is this dealer, in what state? There are 2 Chevy dealers in San Jose and Orange County that account for 15% of volt sales- those cars are front and center in the showroom. Why? The state of California- Incentives, Gas Prices and those wonderful carpool lane stickers!.

This one will shock the just about everyone........ 1999 Toyota Camry. No kidding. had the car 60k miles, went through an engine and two automatic transmissions, calipers that locked up once on the freeway for no reason and dusted brakes with only 3k miles on them, window motors broke at 8k miles......... The

Its really the opposite. CA De-Incentivizes water conservation. My water rates are being increased by 20% this year- why?- Because my community reduced its water consumption by 20 %, and the water company isn't making what they had budgeted. . In essence the more you save the more you pay. Totally Idiotic.

I have been watching the mid aughts 360s for about 3 months. In that time alone, a 15% increase in sale price ans a 20% increase in list. Insane, you could have flipped a Ferrari, owned for 6 months, driven and not put a cent (more or less) into it and made 15-20%. Doug DeMuro clearly sold a month or two too early.

If it really is a Jeep and can be modded, The base model will sell better than the others. Just wait until all the jeepers get their grubby mitts on it.

And you get the HOV sticker so you save an incalculable amount of time/Money!

Look at he other posts, there are many Ferraris for the 60-65 price range. This is a BIN price so 59,900 gets it. Its getting a lot of traffic and no-one wants to commit.....

Ohhh A MOG. yes please. may be hard to park.

I second this one as well!

Ok Hear me out before filing this one as a crazy idea as I am serious:

Doug, you just need to move to the right place, somewhere a little more jaded. I think you would have a totally different experience driving this car here in Silicon Valley. On my daily commute up the peninsula I see 50 Teslas (not exaggerating) and today a couple of Ferrari's and a Maclaren (it was only and 850

First the new F150 and now this- Counterfeiting cars and debuting them at the same time brings this to a whole new level. Where are the counterfeit Volvo's - oh wait they are already Chinese.
