Now that you mention it....goes back and sees the bylines...yup!

Definitely agree with that. Always viewed Deadspin as an editorial board that wouldn’t give the “big boys” more publicity than the teams that deserve it, hence the original comment. As a Mets/Jets/Islanders fan in NY, I am used to the second class status.

In the 2015-16 preview, this website called Spurs trash, said they’re not a good team, and chose them to finish 6th. I don’t see that as being an annual champions league challenger.

At no point did I mention Spurs were a “big club”. I am not even sure what that means. I was simply trying to point out that Spurs are heavily under reported on this website compared to the teams below them in the table and I think independent of team fandom, they have the more interesting storylines right now.

Everton and Liverpool are 11th and 7th in the standings. I don’t think fans of any other team besides those two were that interested in the Derby. Could be wrong though.

Didn’t say that all. I specifically omitted Leicester from the list of teams I wrote in my original post.

Nice to see the thinking of a sane Arsenal fan. Doesn’t happen very often on these here internets.

Haha, the martyr complex is a fair point. As a supporter of team who has been (admittedly) second class for the better part of four decades, it comes with the territory. That being said, I don’t see this team falling back anywhere as long as Pochettino remains in charge. This is a title challenging side for the next

You really think what Spurs have done this year with a squad full of guys in their low-20s isn’t admirable? No one expected this team to finish in the top 4, so they’ve exceeded expectations by almost everyone’s account.

Pretty bad analogy. I specifically didn’t mention Leicester because they deserve all the articles and then some. We do have headlines like “Liverpool Hulk Smashed Everton” though!

Let me guess: You’re an Arsenal fan who has been a fan of the team for less than 5 years and for some reason has adopted the “I hate Tottenham like I have lived in England my whole life” thing. Grow up. This Spurs team is very good and deserve to be written about, just like Arsenal should be when they fire Wenger and

So basically Deadspin refuses to publish an article even acknowledging what Spurs are doing? They may not be top of the table but no one has even come close to playing better football all season. They have a young English core, including what should be the starting spine for England in the upcoming Euros. Oh, and they

Umm....

I seriously think if they didn’t bombard the country with ads during the beginning of the 2015 NFL season, this doesn’t happen. It’s their own fault, plain and simple and I am loving it.

The biggest thing that doesn’t seem to get mentioned that much anymore is how much of an advantage it was for Liverpool then and Leicester in not having to play in any European competition. Avoiding those midweek games in huge. I really wish Spurs didn’t somehow stumble into a top six finish last season. That being

After watching for a decade plus, I am finally crossing the pond and making my first trip every to WHL this weekend for the NLD. Trip was planned 6 months ago. Couldn’t be more nervous/excited for the biggest game in the club’s recent memory.

Kinda surprising Comrie is getting $. Isn’t he the heir to some Canadian furniture fortune?

No

The US defender that we should be talking about is Cameron Carter-Vickers. 19 year old who starts every game for Spurs U21 side. Future stalwart CB.
