Not at all. I actually noticed a that it only shows when you move the camera. Granted you'll do your fair share of camera movement, it's not always on.

Based on that character model it looks fairly small...

I absolutely hated that fight the first few times I fought him but once I got it down it was great. Still challenging but so worth it. The Chaos Blade is a great weapon. I wish I could have multiples.
