Someone tried to pull a scam like this on my mom & her husband(yes, the same ones who had the RV so defective the manufacturer bought it back). They were trying to sell their house and downsize, and had a local couple who were very interested. They put down a $10K deposit, paid for a home inspection, had them fix some

This reminds me of my old artcar.

No a terrible one, mostly just amusingly bad.

Except the stretched tires aren’t new. They’ve been common on lowriders since the 80s. The extreme camber is new, but not all(or even most) stanced cars run crazy camber.

And how is a restored muscle car bringing anything new? Or a traditional custom car? Or a hot rod? Or a track-ready BMW M3?

Which is?

I agree with all the commenters here, F’ stanced cars!

Hell to the fucking yes.

Start a club? That is the single most common attitude I’ve seen in car communities, with every little sub group having their own idea what “pure” is.

So you don’t read replies in full & (based on other replies) have no idea what the basic definition of a hot rod is. I can see attempting to respond to you is a waste of time. Goodbye.

Really? Really? Your username is that of one of the most famous gonzo hot-rodders and you think hot rods are for respectful grampas? Learn some hot rod history for gods sake. Ed “Big Daddy” Roth created Rat Fink, as well as tons of other insane characters to make money while building wild hot rods & choppers.

Excellent.

Awesome truck! Please tell me you’re putting that bumper/grille guard back on the truck.

Worst? This van license plate.

When I bought my GS500, a PO had drilled three big holes in the muffler to make it louder. End result was it sounded like a bike with holes in the muffler. So I capped the end with a metal plug, drilled out only the center and welded that too. Not perfect, but much better. And I don’t sound like an ass leaving for

A couple tried to buy my mom’s house with a fake bank check. The put $20K in cash down, went through the home inspection, negotiations, etc. and when the closing came showed up with a bank check(no big surprise), but when the lawyer went to deposit it, discovered it was a fake. They ended up arrested and found guilty.

Weight-sensing seat-belt reminder buzzers. A friend’s ‘72 Cadillac had this in the front seat. If there was any weight on either side of the seat, a buzzer would sound constantly until the belt was buckled. Often what happened was she would get in & throw her bag in the passenger seat, buckle up and head out. Then

The little side lights in the bumper that turned on and illuminated to the side & front when you put on the turn signal. My old Taurus(not pictured) had these and they were great, gave you some extra illumination for where you were going before you turned far enough to the headlights to point that way.

So this thing is about the size of an original mini(that was 10’Lx4.6’Wx4.4’H). I would gleefully take one in a more normal 2 or 4 seat version with a tiny gas motor for bombing around town in.

The Bond jump car and one of the stunt show cars were on display at the Big-E in MA back in 2009 and I was able to snag these shots.
