Leather seats are one of my least-wanted automotive accessories. To the point where they area major downtick when looking at a potential car.

I'm reminded of a guy I worked with at NAPA. His previous job was at a heavy truck sales/repair/parts place. When he started, they on the lot 5 flatbed trucks with the super skinny cabs (so long material could be loaded alongside the cab the full length of the truck) that had come in on trade-in. As if these weren't

@Cam Jamieson: They sell keyboard trays designed to screw to the underside of a desk, so you don't need to build custom brackets.

I was pulled over around 2am one night for having a weird car with out of state plates. That of course wasn't what they told me, but it was pretty obvious.

That is truly stunning. The attention to detail and the inventive touches (the sunvisors astound me) place this car head and shoulders above anything I have seen in a long time.

@Bullitt417: The suspicious part of me can't help wondering if they just laid a few layers of carbon fiber over the existing body, bolted on the areo kit and called it done. It would certainly help explain them being heavier than the stock cars. #seibon

And here I thought the carbon fiber fender flares on the ZR2 were going to be the dumbest application of Carbon Fiber at SEMA. (because what you want on a trail is the outermost parts of your fenders to be made of a super expensive material that costs a fortune to repair).

From the twitter feed:

just remember that if you're going to use your computer for home security that you have the image/video files being saved somewhere off the computer. Either have them auto-upload somewhere or save to an external HD that is hidden.

An uncle of mine bought a Ford Econoline new in 1988 and ran it to somewhere north of 500K(odometer packed up around 400K) with only the head being rebuilt once. At that point the Rhode Island salt & sea air had dissolved most of the van. So he bought a retired AT&T truck, put the 500K drivetrain in it and put another

I drove my 3.8L 1991 Taurus wagon to 288K before a rod-knock signaled its end.

I'd say a tie between the Cube and the Soul.

Right now I'm excessively happy with my '62 Comet & '04 Scion xB.

Watching the guy slip at 44sec and fall towards the spike for a moment made it even scarier.

Jesus, I just watched that again. He shoved some seven cars aside and went on to plow through a fence. How freaking fast was that bus going?

Bus-ted!

@pj134: SL1, maybe. But the SL (even lower level) can easily be a D-bag car just because broke FnF wannabes will buy it, then do horrible things to it.
