Actually:
They specifically cite Eyvind Earle as their primary influence, so Sleeping Beauty is definitely the look they were going for. The multiplayer doesn't draw me in too much, but I can't wait for the single player campaign.
I'd like to get into many of these games, but the vast majority seem to be designed for 2-6 players. When I have my friends over, we're often closer to 8-10 people.
I think I'll stick with SoundHound for now. It saves my lookups in a single spot, so I can check it when I get home and want to download that song for myself. It'll also (sometimes) load up the lyrics and even sync the lyrics display with the song.
The mascot is an ibis named Sebastian. Ibises are reportedly the last animal to seek shelter before a coming hurricane and the first to emerge afterwards.
Beer?
Genderswap cosplay is fine. Racialswap cosplay is fine. Chaka there makes a great Cap.
I don't valet park often, but it happens just enough that I'd definitely need to have a regular key. More importantly, what happens if your car breaks down and needs to go straight to a mechanic? I suppose a Hyundai dealership may be able to handle it, but anybody else would probably need you to leave a regular key…
The Kickstarter terms of use include the line, "Project Creators are required to fulfill all rewards of their successful fundraising campaigns or refund any Backer whose reward they do not or cannot fulfill."
No, he created the Kickstarter with plans to support micro-USB and the old 30-pin dock connector. At the time nobody knew anything about the lightning connector except that Apple might be changing their connector with the new phone. After the project was fully funded, details emerged for the new connector, and it was…
Actually, he did make the Kickstarter before the lightning cable existed (unless you count it being a complete secret that only Apple knew about for certain). The Kickstarter was launched back on July 18, 2012, and closed with full funding September 1, 2012. There were rumors of the lightning cable sometime around…
On something like a generation ship, I really can't see any kind of natural biological evolution.
As the great sage Randy Newman once said: They say that money can't buy love in this world. But it'll get you a half pound of cocaine and a sixteen-year old girl in a great big long limousine on a hot September night. Now that may not be love, but it is all right.
We were hunting down the child observer in the pocket universe just a few episodes ago. I think that should have been enough of a reminder. As for the lab assistant, I didn't really remember her, but I think the episode itself did a decent job of explaining her. She's just there as an aspect of Walter's personality,…
As a geologist, I really enjoy Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars trilogy. He starts things off in the relatively near future with science that isn't too far fetched and works his way progressively forward through time.
I travel a heck of a lot for work, and often hotels will have laundry machines but no hampers. I tend to carry a mesh bag with me for this purpose, but sometimes I forget to pack it. This trick will be great for getting my laundry to and from my room without carrying an armful of loose socks down the halls.
Every so often I just pour myself a drink, dim the lights, sit down, and listen to the entire Nighthawks album straight through without letting a single other thing intrude. It's always incredible.
Got it downloaded on my GS3 and it's completely unplayable. Takes forever to load, flickering the entire time, then the graphics are so broken you can't see anything except for the same couple of elements ghosting their way over everything.
