Some people think that since looking at you cry is making them feel bad, your intention is to hurt them, not express your sadness/fear/emotional state of upset. I think it's weird, personally. I don't start crying because I want to hurt someone, I'm crying because I'm hurt.

I for one won't allow tears to be used against me as a weapon.

DAT IZ NOT A SIXPACK. DAT IZ A SHADOW.

At what age do we stop calling out 4:20. I get it, you smoke. It's cool, it's cool. But seriously at this point does anyone over the age of 15 GAF about it?

It's almost like Liz Lemon and Tina Fey aren't the same person.

It's not making fun of her ass: it's making fun of her ridiculous choice of attire and the way said attire makes her normally normal-looking butt look like something out of Dali painting.

It's less of a jab at her ass and more of a rib on the unflattering nature of latex.

I disagree. Writing and teaching are separate skills. As a temp, visiting lecturer, sure; but as a full-time professor, when he doesn't have a doctorate? No.

Oh and enjoy that wine. I'm indulging and buying my first ever case of wine next week and will def raise a glass to all my full-bootied and flat-bootied sisters.

But seriously, who really cares about the rights of the tribe in all of this? The important rights are those of the parents and the child. The dad gave up his rights, the mother completed the adoption. The child ought to be afforded the right of a stable upbringing without undue interference by the courts, but in this

Hunh. After being wearing big A-line skirts to hide my giant ass for my whole and entire life, TIL that I'm proportioned roughly like Nicki Minaj.

Am I "in" now? Is this what the teens are lusting after these days? Hello, fellow kids.

Not in order to destroy an existing family, as per this SCOTUS ruling. The application of the ICWA here was a huge, abusive, troubling overreach. It meant that a tribe with a very liberal membership requirement can undo the adoption of ANY child they claim as a member, and that her other heritage or family or adoptive

It means that Latin America has indigenous groups too. It even has tribes.

They adopted her and she is their child. They are doing what any parents would do, including the bio dad. I don't doubt he adores her and would have raised her in love. The thing is, he gave her up. When she was born, he gave up responsibility. It's just one of those decisions that are permanent. SCOTUS made the right
