Same. The fireworks around here start in mid-May and run through late July, before dying off a bit, only to ramp back up in time for Halloween. July 4 is one fucking day, so whatever these assholes are celebrating, that ain’t it.

Yeah the air quality here in the Bay is already shitty thanks to the already existing fires...can’t wait for the inevitable new fires + bonus heavy metals.

I also live in SoCal and across the street from a park. People feel the need to shoot them off at 2am for a week before and after every holiday. It’s hard to sleep and occasionally, they accidentally light a tree on fire.

I’m in Arizona where it’s ALWAYS dry as a tinderbox and recently they’ve been made legal. Last week I had a neighbor down the street set of fireworks.

Thank you. I challenge anyone of these people to think this is PC culture that has run amok to spend one damn day here. Its miserable. I genuinely dread it.

This week the Supreme Court decided that it’s unconstitutional to force fake doctors to tell women the truth, but totally constitutional to force real doctors to lie to them. That’s the court we have right now. And it’s about to become so much worse.

I am not far left (at least according to far left people, I might as well be a neocon) but it irks me so much that dems talk about how people need to come out and vote dem even if they have to hold their nose at it -- but that goes both ways!
