True. I wonder how fine grained the options are for time alining the “top” channels with the rest of the 5.1 speakers... I see the potential for a lot of smeared, and unfocused sound here.

Already have my tickets booked for the Scotiabank Theatre in TO. Also, the Imax theatres with laser projection also have the new 12 channel audio systems - apart from the traditional 6, there are 4 in the ceiling and 2 midway along the sides of the room, all full range. I can’t wait to hear the mix in that room :-)

Venus is too densely clouded to see the surface from orbit. Earth is in the foreground, Venus is the bright “star” entered in the frame. Also the ISS (the platform from which this picture was taken) is in Earth orbit.

Mars is nice and could be even nicer if terraformed, but the atmosphere is currently of little benefit to a settlement there. The moon is closer, would require less time / resources to get there and it would give us the opportunity to work the kinks out before spreading our wings further.

My mother ofter uses the phrase “it’s just a money making business” as a derogatory term. I have given up explaining that unless it’s a non-profit, it is the hope of any business to be money making... that’s how they stay operational!
