Sour Cream is for dip. Mayo and buttermilk is for salad dressing.

I feel like Pace Chunky salsa is like Hershey’s chocolate to me - academically I know it’s not good, but due to decades of it just being the go-to salsa in my house, it’s become like the platonic ideal salsa to me. Other stuff is fine, but it’s not the thing I’m used to.

I’m a better-than-average cook, but man, I cannot be bothered to make my own pesto or salsa or hummus most of the time. Even “easy to make” still involves buying a lot of separate ingredients and doing a lot of prep work (rinsing, chopping, blending, whatever) for something that may well go bad before I can finish it.…

I agree that Pace Chunky is not very good. However, my wife and I go through a 24 ounce jar of Pace Original Hot every week. It’s bright and delicious, so skip the chunky and head for the original.

I grew up doing sour cream too, but looking it up, nothing says sour cream except for when you go to Daisy’s website.... wonder if that is where we learned it from...

I knew about her and somewhat appreciated her, having said that it was when “Running Up That Hill” was featured at the end of an episode of the first season of Pose that I got back into that song and listen to it quite frequently since. And I was born in the 70s!

Song titles aren’t protected by copyright generally so I doubt they have a case purely on that basis, especially when Carla Thomas released a song with that name in the 60s IIRC.
