It’s like “We get it. You’re a high-functioning alcoholic national treasure. Give it a rest.”
I will sign on to this take. It’s like he’s just trying too hard sometimes. Sit back and let What About Bob? (underrated IMO!) speak for itself.
I TAKE BACK WHAT I SAID PLEASE SEND BILL MURRAY TO MY BIRTHDAY PARTY
Well, looks like he WAS planning on crashing your birthday party. Sucks for you. Bill Murray would just be Tom Hanks if he didn’t perform random acts of whimsical shenaniganry.
I have a Hot Take coming. Don’t get me wrong, I love Bill Murray and I think he’s a national treasure...
Yes. Thank you. THANK YOU. This truly validates all my insecurities as a fan.

I’m just so happy for that Wisconsin grad from Indianapolis who now works for Accenture, lives in Lincoln Park, and has never watched a baseball game prior to this year - HE’S WAITED HIS WHOLE LIFE FOR THIS!
I’m glad your loved ones are dead.
Not that being dead ever stopped Chicago residents from participating in the electoral process.
The self mythologizing of Cubs and Red Sox fansMy comment is fucking insufferable.
Are you really begrudging people the emotions they feel because fandom is often passed down generationally?
You know who didn’t fucking do this? White Sox fans, after 88 years. We had some dead family members too but didn’t caterwaul about it endlessly.
On the bright side, they missed out on this election too
Even when this good dog acts bad he is still an extremely good dog.
I loved this show. In fairness, there were moments where it go a bit too Garden Statey, but overall, I thought it was excellent television.
What’s even more fun to think about is how in baseball, managers wear the same uniform as the players. It’s the only sport that does that. Now imagine your favorite basketball coach pacing down the sidelines in a full basketball uniform and try not to laugh.
