I find this promotion strange. Wasn’t the whole point of building that new stadium so white people can run away from non-white people?

I look forward to next year when Woj and Shams are at ESPN and they tell them to can it with the spoilers.
What’s really interesting is that the media seems to paint this narrative that PG County is this typical lower class predominantly black area when it isn’t that at all. I mean, relatively, yes, it’s not Potomac, but it is the wealthiest African-American majority county in the US. It most certainly is not some…
WHAAAAAAT?! Did someone just make a Tim Fudd reference on Deadspin?
My father is an extremely proud alum of American University. By way of that, I was raised on AU basketball. Even when I went to a giant school with a good basketball program, AU always has had my heart within the college hoops landscape.
They traded Felipe Rivero for 25 innings of Mark Melancon last year.. Rivero has blossomed into one of the best three relievers in baseball. That deal is not looking good right now.
Umm... no? Not really.
Absolutely was not comparing the gravity of their issues. The answer to that is pretty obvious. Was more making a broad comparison of how both retired with certain transgressions towards the end of their career.
No doubt. I was strictly talking about their FBS careers.
Why? Outside of the fact that Stoops coached a few years longer than Tressel, it’s hard not to see parallels in their resumes.
As an Ohio State alum, I see his legacy being very similar to Jim Tressel in many ways. Like Tressel, he lead Oklahoma to a national title in his second year. He got there again in 2008, but lost to Florida (again, like Tressel). Nonetheless, he is the only coach in college football history to win all four BCS games.…
+1 and this is coming from someone who actually has Tourette syndrome.
God dammit, this has really ruined Bill Snyder for me. Why didn’t you just retire after last season so I can spend the rest of eternity thinking of you as grandpa wizard. Now I just think you’re a dick.
I simply can’t argue this very good point.
Bad brain fart by me. Edited.

This series, like most of today’s NBA, is all about matchups and how each team reacts to them via switching.
Correct me if I’m wrong (I’m almost certainly wrong), but isn’t it against the rules to have that sort of quid pro quo when it comes to players contracts? Specifically, the premise of taking less money now with the understanding that you will be made whole in the future. Also, doing so with the express purpose of…
Oh, I totally like Big Cat. I was just pointing out PFTC because he was a recent aquisition due to their influx of capital. But yeah, Big Cat is great.
I have some friends who I’m ashamed to admit, are avid Barstool fans. It’s the one shitty quality about them. They were telling me that when PFTC first came on board over there, a good deal of the site didn’t realize he was a parody.
