I tried it the other week - it’s neat, but I realized there’s not really a use case for me. If I’m home, I’d prefer to be sitting either in front of one of my gargantuan screens or wearing my VR headset.

My problem is spending a ton of time on a game, then get busy IRL, come back to game and lost AF and don’t know how far I am and what I was supposed to do next.
My sister is Filipina and married a Caucasian man and they moved to a predominantly white community “for the better schools”. She would joke about how she’d go to functions with the kids (who look more white than biracial) and kept getting mistaken as the Asian Nanny.
I actually prefer the CD slot holder, because I don’t use discs anymore since I use my phone for all music and podcasts and the only buttons I need are power, volume, and source, which are easy to get access to. I don’t use it in my vehicle though, because my stereo is at the very bottom of the console and a terrible…

I’ve literally gone through dozens of wireless pointing devices, from gyroscopic air-mice to regular desktop-type mice to control my HTPCs. I always go back to this. The shape of the part you hold feels like a regular remote control and your thumb naturally feels at home moving cursor around on the optical pad. It’s…

If you think that’s pricey, here’s its big brother that’s $100 - i have the wired version at work.

Are we going to have to stop accepting updates in order to utilize this if it ever becomes available? I know my buddy at work is working on some homebrew tools - but according to him there’s a certain firmware that you need to be at as the exploit that made this possible was closed after a recent update.
I prefer to finger my balls over the thumb type. Also, wireless is not necessary because I have a keyboard/mouse tray on my home and office desks that do cable management. I never have to worry about a battery except for my portable mouse.

This is the RZ line which has the higher end caps and a 3 year warranty to back it. The TX-NR676 you linked to at BB only has a 2 year warranty and the Amazon price for that model is always $350, unlike this one that’s $100 off.

I hate how there aren’t any reliable 3rd party dock options than the official one.
Wait, so if I have Alexa enabled on my phone - will this will compete when responding to voice commands?

My wife just mentioned it would be cool to have a Studio Ghibli game and the rest of us looked at her like she didn’t know we had Ni No Kuni. Then she said a similar game like Kingdom Hearts where you could play within the worlds of Studio Ghibli properties like : Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, Totoro, Ponyo,…
How about the conflict between playing on the intimate 35" G-sync in my office or the glorious 144" projector screen from my couch.
Eventually, I’d probably replace my TCP Connected lightbulbs with these. TCP shut down their cloud servers that their hub phoned home to, but the lights can still be controlled locally - and most importantly continues to work w/ my Vera hub and Amazon Echos via HA Bridge as a go-between. Would be nice to worry about 1…

Wrong question - should be more about what would make me still give them money, even though I avoid going to the movie theater since I installed my own projector and screen (and I live 2 blocks from a nice theater). All the money I saved in movie tickets and concessions went towards upgrading my home theater setup.
What…
Even though we bought a house that’s 2 blocks from a theater, we rarely go to the movies now - and when we venture out of the house for movies, it is a trip to another town that has a real IMAX/3D theater for us. Best decision was when my wife let me install a projector and 144" screen in our home theater many years…
I don’t know - is it like when I call the devices Echo/Echo Dots and my kids insist they’re little “Alexas”?
Honestly, I haven’t gotten anything that’s Zigbee, yet - I’ve been kinda looking for something to show up that I could play around with it, but I’ve gotten all my needs met w/ Z-Wave already.
