If that was James Dolan or Snyder or Kraft, does anyone think the Daily News, the Post, the Times, Deadspin, or any other eastern sports news outlet would have hesitated to call any of them out right away? Of course not.

And for some reason, one that probably begins with “access” and ends with “is poison,” none of the Warriors beat writers, who are most knowledgeable about the team and its owners, reported the news either.

You know those “You had one job” memes? Chasing that ball is his one job. Fans paid to watch. It was a live ball.  Nobody there has a right to get salty at him for doing his one job.

I said this elsewhere, I’ve been a casual Warriors fan most of my life and pretty dedicated for the last decade or so.
I feel comfortable accepting that they’re the villains in a lot of scenarios. I still like the players but having the owner group be a bunch of Venture Capital douchebags has really made it hard to

A venture capitalist pushing around an actually talented person at their place of business? Wonders never cease.

That’s adorable, but nobody turns a money spigot off until something happens. Given the decades of court-side NBA seats and lack of seriously injured Beyoncés or Jack Nicholsons, never mind John and Jane Does, I don’t think that’s an unreasonable state of affairs.

The fact that anyone here in the comments is defending Shovey McShoverson III is astounding to me!

I have never heard so many stupid people give their hot takes..... No its not like soccer, no it’s not like baseball, did Joel Embiid go to jail for almost dropkicking Regina King? You dont touch the fucking players no matter how rich and inbred you are to get a seat that close at Oracle.  Fucking morons it baffles

Nah, this really is a normal, expected thing at a basketball game, and most fans would have the player's side here. I know it seems weird and I can't think of an equivalent in other sports, but it's normal. This happens at least once in most games. Keep in mind that the front row spectators can get onto the court in

Some people are saying the guy was mad because he smashed a woman the guy in the blue polo was sitting near? Bullshit excuse for the simple fact that these mf’s had COURTSIDE SEATS. That’s like going to Benihana and getting mad a shrimp or a piece of rice flies at you.

“I’m a white guy lawyer lots of people don’t like”

Dude. That is a brutal story. Thank you for your willingness to share it, which also gives deserved recognition to your friends and loved ones.

You paint such a classic picture of a TBI patient, but from a perspective that only someone that has been through a serious TBI and came out the other end can do .. provided they were a talented writer before hand and had a good recovery to let them write well afterwards still. Thank you for sharing your story. I hope

All of that and solving a great mystery of the universe

Oh man, I’m reading this and the tears are coming down. So glad you’ve made it, I’ve enjoyed your writing since you came to Deadspin. As a wife and mother of 2, during your ordeal I was worried sick about your family. I put myself in your wife’s shoes and a chill would run down my spine every time.

Hey man. We met at a kid’s birthday party a couple years ago and I introduced myself to you in a bid to not be a super-creeper lookie-lou, because I recognized you from pictures on the site. It was great talking to you, it’s been great reading you, and god willing I hope you get to write and I get to read you for

I just honestly feel so much more chemistry between Nathaniel and Rebecca than Greg and her (though I wonder if that's also because Scott Michael Foster has a more expressive face). I feel like we all just got attached to Greg because Josh was such a horrible option and love interests being witty/sarcastic is so

I'm really surprised more people aren't into Nathaniel. And I don't mean this just because Scott Michael Foster is hot. Maybe I'm just partial to similar people pairing up.
