I was lucky enough to meet my East Bay husband on OKcupid and find one who was willing to not only come out SF most of the time, but then eventually move in with me in SF. We did have a lot of great Oakland dates. We don't live there anymore, but anytime we visit the Bay now, we mainly stay in the East Bay.
