My fave recap podcast (Watch What Crappens) has been talking about these allegations for months. It suuuuccckkks that he won. It sucks even more that Tom was so on his jock all season, and especially in the lead up to the finale.

I don’t think I’m seeing a ton of people saying it’s not a problem. I can see some people maybe saying they can UNDERSTAND it even if it’s not helpful behavior (for her children or anyone - I don’t have kids, I know it’s a bad response, I would still imagine in her shoes it was a nightmare and she felt no control and…

But I think the point was she was responding to the circumstances she was in, not that she was mentally ill, which is the narrative her handlers preferred.

And he still doesn't. You think anyone is trying to put him under a conservatorship? Hell no. The worst that happened is KUWTK got cancelled.

I know this is a separate issue, but I’d really like to know why men like Charlie Sheen or Sean Penn or Robert Downey Junior never got a conservatorship when they were acting erratically and unhinged.

But if she ends up broke...... okay? Lots of people are broke and aren’t being told where to go and if they can re-stain their cabinets and how many Dr. Peppers they can drink. The conservatorship is absolutely the problem. There have been many, many male celebs that have had downward spirals, were completely destructive, doing life-ruining things...and they were maybe married or at least had kids, and not one person stepped up and decided they needed a conservator.

Even though she doesn’t want to, she’s going to have to get an independent evaluation and answer a lot of questions before they will take her seriously.

I’ve been reading articles and listening to lawyers talk about this on podcasts. They basically said this was going to happen and what needs to be done is Britney’s lawyer needs to actually get a case together to take to trial where they present evidence of why the conservatorship needs to be dissolved.
