10 year old me:
That Thor is not worthy, since Ultron is in his brain.
I can't believe the network putting this out also makes the imminently creepy Person of Interest opener. "You are being watched. The government has a secret system; a Machine that spies on you every hour of every day." And THAT'S the good guy.
You know, I respectfully disagree. It's been years; am I mistaken or was there two pilots for this show? I seem to remember this kid meeting his friend for the first time and then, in another episode, meeting him again for the first time.
Arrooooooooooooooooooooow!
It seems to me that the irony and humor in Banks' novels serve the critical purpose of resetting the reader emotionally, so that the dramatic scenes hit you harder. Especially when it's a one-off perspective shift chapter, it's disarming.
