We're the Super Bowl champs, for fuck's sake. Go take a walk, you're giving all of us a bad name.

You don't win Super Bowls in March, and the Pats have a crazy good 15 year run of unmatched success by not blowing their budget on any player except Brady. So I'm not upset they didn't give him the money the Jets gave him.

I'm glad Deadspin is taking Revis's side. I'm a Pats fan and am sad to see him go, but as a human being I'm happy to see a guy actually use his leverage repeatedly in a league where everyone plays a bloodsport on contracts that can be voided at any time. More elite players should hire whoever his agent is.

False hope in March is the tootsie roll center of Jets fandom.

If you're running the spread offense, I can't imagine anything more spread out that placing your players all over the country on different teams.

And implying simmons was upset about something he absolutely didn't care about and said it was the right choice. he has to be trolling at this point, you don't fuck up 3 in a row and not admit it on accident.

I laughed quite a bit at this.

They need to keep that pizza forever!

I was eating the El Guapo burrito at a place near Fenway years after that dude left the Sox.

Hasn't it already been made abundantly clear how much St. Louis hates chocolate sprinkles?

Anybody who judges a DT by stats does not understand football. He is one of the best DL over the last decade, easily. And I say this as someone who absolutely hates everything about the Patriots.

I always refer to SUPERBird! for no apparent reason.

Exactly, the pizza and even his turkey (or was it a chicken?) at Big Y were staples.

That is why they rarely get stuck with busts, there are countless examples of guys that left and were shells of themselves, Mankins is the most recent example. Gets injured right off the bat, which is what concerned them when he wanted so much money at his age/position.

Agreed. I'm going to miss that teddy bear of a man.

I was afraid of this when he got hurt last season and they still made the AFC Championship.

As great as it would be, there's no way he'll leave his show to come back to the Daily Show.

and then in 1986 when they reported that the snow had overtaken Len Bias.

Amazing that you can't even tell the MI6 HQ was blown up a couple years ago. I think it had something to do with some super cyber criminal who was releasing classified names of agents across the world.
