I think it makes sense that the government would kill 27 people in a small town to prove a point about guns, but refuse to fudge numbers on a spreadsheet. They gotta draw the line somewhere.

If the Seahawks win again, the pain will subside. Whenever you're watching NFL Network and this game comes up, you won't hurriedly change the channel anymore. I never thought I'd get over the 2003 ALCS between the Red Sox and Yankees, but a historical comeback and WS win the following year made the Aaron Boone

The other night, my friend and I were discussing if we could swap this one for the helmet catch never happening and achieving the 19-0 season. It's hard to say without time to reflect on this one.

Kraft privately funded Gillette. He's been fairly good on not asking for public money, while making money hand over fist with Patriot Place... I can see him getting land cheap in the Seaport district and privately building a soccer stadium for the Revs.

I care nothing for Bob Kraft, but just for the record, Gillette Stadium was privately financed (albeit half with loans from the NFL to Kraft). He did make some threats about moving the team to RI or CT before getting a deal from the state of MA for infrastructure improvements (mainly to Route 1), but no public funds

agreed. until they officially declared the game over and done, i wasn't going into full celebration mode. but when that INT did happen, i did the same exact thing—popped off my couch arms in air yelling YES. then i sat down and just hoped nothing horrible would happen to take it away.

So the question is: Is Jimmy Garoppolo elite?

If you need something to dry your sweet, sweet tears with, the Dick's just outside Spokane has a bunch of "NFC Champs" shirts on clearance

Because what could be more Bill Belichick than having his 5th corner fully prepared for the world's least likely play call?

WOW! Absolutely unbelievable. Someone actually took a landscape video.

So In your mind, Rodgers has already had a better career because he might eventually have a better career? that doesn't even make sense!

Nine seasons of "Conference title game or better" in fourteen years makes you the model franchise in the league, yes. It does. 100%.

You realize, genius, that going to the Super Bowl and losing is a greater achievement than, say, missing the playoffs or losing at some earlier point in the playoffs, right?

So clearly he should be penalized for playing for 2 Super Bowls that Montana never even got to.

But it's not really just a numbers vs. championships argument with Brady. It's numbers AND championships AND the level of success he's had even in years when he hasn't won championships.

If you can't see how nearly any other quarterback could have made 99% of the reads and throws Brady makes you don't deserve to watch football.

Because the Vikings and Bears aren't hapless??

I assume he was "up for whatever."

So many what-ifs. What ifs throughout this whole playoff run with Detroit, Dallas, Green Bay, the Pats close game with Baltimore. What-if Wes didn't drop that ball in the Pat drive in SB 46? What if David Tyrese didn't catch that ball in the first matchup of Pats vs Giants?

If "ifs and buts" were candy and nuts, Marshawn Lynch would grab them.
