I don’t think it’s fair to call Crawford a marketing decision. He had put up great numbers in the AL East. They thought they were making themselves stronger while also making a division rival weaker. Crawford was, in TB, an all-star caliber player almost every year. He just couldn’t handle Boston.

Oh, and Peter Gammons once gave me the bird at Fenway but I was hammered, taunting him for not doing the wave, and yelled “Fuck you, Peter Gammons” directly at him while he started at me. So it was totally deserved.

Three: two NBA (one long/one short) and one bonus wrestling related.

Options. It’s going to continue to be a slow growth because kids have so many options, especially when many of them are far more popular so it’s an uphill battle.

I’ve only played 3 and New Vegas, the only Action RPG ones (I just downloaded 1 and 2 which are much more old school RPG). 3 and NV are great games, hence the hype for this, but you don’t need to have played them for this. Doing so simply adds a lot of color to the games.

Right, because Manziel outplayed McCown in the preseason but the Browns are sticking with him because of his long track record in Cleveland and the level of reverence Cleveland fans have for him.

Slightly different - Bledsoe only kept the job coming out of camp in 2001 BECAUSE of his history with the team and respect for what he had done for the franchise and Belichick being a little gun shy from the Kosar/Testaverde change in Cleveland.

Yeah but what about this pic? This pic would have been perfect.

They were accused of going through other teams trash cans and for providing warm drinks to the opposing team. That’s why he referenced it.

As a Patriot fan, my issue with this story as relates to the Spygate videotaping is this:

Am I remembering it wrong or wasn’t the Jets video from the game and not a Jets practice, like this article states?

You don’t get suspended for 40 games for a corked bat.

Yes. I agree that the group of them together would be unable to chop down.

Fe and Poehler are the only two on that list who could really do it without scarring at this point.

This has always been, and will always be, my favorite video game gun for the reasons you’ve stated. Even though it’s been done to death, I wish we could get more WWII shooters so I can go back to using it again.

That’s exactly what I think is happening. Make it solely a team punishment.

Because the punishment was completely out of line with similarly situated incidents involving footballs on a minor equipment issue. Hardy, AP, and Ray Rice are all domestic violence issues which are serious, real world crimes, and the Saints were placing bounties on people’s heads and therefore endangering player

Well, I don’t think that’s as helpful as you think it is because if they shared the footballs, no one could possibly claim there was an uneven playing field. But since they don’t share the equipment, this is the football equivalent of a baseball player corking a bat or wearing spikes that are too long - and we don’t

So an equipment violation is worse than any of those listed violations? A few slightly deflated footballs impacts a game more than PED use or salary cap violations? If so, do we strip San Francisco of its rings bc Jerry Rice used stick’em illegally? Just because his arguments hurt yours and therefore you don’t like

Dude, Pro Football Talk is a different website. This is Deadspin.
