Except the investigation found that Sean Payton not only knew about the bounties but tried to cover it up.

That’s not an accurate statement of how the fandom treats Brady. We love him because he’s great and brought home championships. We’ve never knocked him as an “outsider” like you are intimating.
Imagine you put somebody alone in a room with a blueberry pie, with no entrances or exits other than one door. You then close and lock the door and stand in front of it, not allowing anybody to enter or exit.
And now the just blasted a 3 run shot! This kid is a joy to watch.
Because that kind of addition would make it more fun to watch, which could bring about an increase in attention to the sport by “the undesirables.” (read: blacks, hispanics, etc.)
Except that you’d have to ignore the fact that his first two SB wins were last second drives, his entire 2007 season, his consistently great numbers with what was usually an average receiving corps at best (sans the Randy Moss years), and arguably the greatest 4th quarter against statistically speaking one of the…
I'm sure he's feeling quite magnanimous towards Pete Carroll right about now.
Yes, there are rules about where they could place cameras. It's what has caused all this bs that we, as fans, have had to endure the past decade or so. So they couldn't install cameras on their own. It would have to be approved by the league.
Right, and comparing salaries across sports makes so much sense, especially when one has a salary cap, one doesn't AND one sport starts 9 per game (or 14 if you include all starting pitchers) and one starts 22+ special team players who don't start on the offense or defense.
I agree with you about all of them (despite the fact I still wear a Bruschi jersey and will never stop singing the praises of Troy Brown) except for Matt Light.
Agreed BUT I don't have a HoF vote and some of those who do are absolute idiots.
Love Vince - I think he belongs in the HoF because, while his numbers aren't there it's because of the amount of attention he drew and you can argue he was the most dominant defensive lineman for that reason over the past decade.
Other than the difference between averaging a below freezing temp versus an above freezing temp? No. Not at all.
How do you do this math? The interception didn't score any points for the Patriots - they had the lead. The interception clinched the win. So please explain how they were "losing" before the interception incurred?
Puts him in the conversation?! So he wasn't before? He NEEDED this win to be considered in the discussion of best ever?
unless it was Super Bowl Sunday...
well, since we are using brain farts as a reason to reimagine history, I guess if Tom Brady doesn't have a brain fart in the first quarter and throws to a different receiver or throws it away, the Pats are at 31 or possibly 34 points when the Seahawks are on the 1 and at best the Seahawks are looking to only tie or…
Guys! It's bigger than just football! Can't you see?!
Am I the only one who'd like to see CoD return to WWII on the new gen machines? It's been ages (in video game time) since they've done a game set in WWII and when they did, the previous gens were still relatively primitive.
"Scoring on Buffalo Bills triple coverage? It's so easy even a practice squad player can do it!"
