Or you could just buy something from Logitech that works great out of the box...

Magic Mouse is such an asinine name. It sounds like it should come free with a LeapTop.

As a long-time player...yea, saw that coming.

There’s a giant gulf between name-calling and diagnosis. Trump attracts both. In pejorative name calling, he gets “psycho” and “idiot” and “pervert” and so on, but the true diagnosis of Trump starts with his out-in-the-open pathologies. Taken as a group, his symptoms suggest a man who’s brain is genomically altered in

Damn, I can’t imagine not having the ability to set default apps. Though it makes sense — Google is just happy to have you online at all, but Apple has always insisted you only use their hardware and their services for everything.

Setting new ringtones (or notification sounds) on an iPhone without having to pay money, or jump through hoops with using iTunes.

As an “artistic” genetic algorithm this could work, and be profitable, IF the images on the Amazon item pages are rendered and sold before the physical product is actually made.

This seems related.

Someone explain to me, apart from now tolerating the Orthodox Church, what’s substantially different between Russia now and Russia when Reagan was calling it “The Evil Empire?”

Yeah, but it sounds cool to talk about on the campaign trail. Just add fear.

The Airforce already exists. They have their own unmanned space shuttle. A fair number of the Astronauts at NASA are from the Air Force. They don’t need to create a new branch of the military.

I have a feeling it’s not going to look or sound as cool as the movies.

It’s super impractical (and dumb) to bring people into space to fight, because of like a million different reasons. “Smart” weapons of various kinds will do a much better job; they’ll move much faster, react faster and hit way more accurately, helping to bring a Kessler Scenario into reality all that much faster. :P

Yes, that sounds about right. I think a thorough investigation of the GOP Congress members pushing this would reveal cushy dealings with corporations likely to benefit from it with those porky contracts. Just like the loudest climate deniers have deals with the Big Oil/Fossil Fuel industry. Follow the money.

I’d bet significant money that Boeing and Lockheed are pushing this. They are starting to lose their ass on the ULA satellite launch business with all this new competition from SpaceX et al. Something like this opens up all kinds of new cost-plus porky military contracts that those guys won’t go after.

Sounds stupid. We already have the Air Force. But somebody is planning how to make money out of it.

SMART. Those will never need new tires, ever.

Quantum dots are a fascinating tech and you can buy a QD augmented LCD now. They’re not quite as good or thin as OLED, but they’re pretty damn awesome if you’re a Samsung diehard and they don’t run into burn in problems like OLED. I’m a cord cutter and most streaming cable channels love a bright white logo in the

At least they weren’t watching StarTrek!

I saw this story about the little girl on the news a few days ago and couldn’t stop laughing, my daughter would also try that in a heartbeat which is one of several reasons i’ll never get an Alexa.
