Gotta say Gattaca and Minority Report belong here more than Avatar. I liked Avatar, but I don't think it's really a sci fi film any more than Star Wars is. I think they both fit into the fantasy genre.

I think Gary Johnson is actually a pretty viable third party candidate this go around. I'm not voting for him because Im in a critical county in the swingiest of swing states, but I'd like to see him reach 5% to get their party in the game for the next election cycle.

I disagree. I think Cook is perfect at running/managing a company like Apple that thrives on control of their supply chain. It doesnt mean he has to have ANY input into the design of the product.

I completely agree. It still takes a serious degree of skill. My larger point is, that it's an even greater accomplishment if the artist does this essentially from memory rather than use a photo as reference. I cant tell by looking at the article where he's getting the source material.
