As someone who was vegan for 14 years and now eats a high-protein (Paleo-like) diet, I can say that my farts now are FAR worse than when I was a veg. I still haven't farted in front of my fiance'. :-)

I've had people not able to lift their carry-on into the overhead bin. I just put it in there for them. It took all of 5 seconds. I didn't like them any less. (And they liked me more.) What's the issue with this?
Numbers 4 and 5 can be done when you return. There's enough to worry about before a trip, and there is never enough time.

You do know that starter pistols aren't real firearms, right? They don't actually shoot bullets. It's just that the TSA treats them as such, so your luggage is FAR less likely to get lost. The last thing that they want to do is to lose track of a firearm.
