You may want to edit what you just wrote, I think that your first sentence is kind of confusing.

New York (among others) has a concept of per se libel, for which no malice need be proven in order to make out general damages. Accusations of a sexual nature, or of a crime evidencing moral turpitude, fall into that category. No actual damage need be proven.

I think the point was that there are a lot of MRAs who are useless, mush-headed misogynists, but there are a number of issues that the MRM purports to care about that are real issues and failure to engage with those issues injures feminism, or gender equality or whatever you want to call it.
