OH. MY. GOD. The last time I heard anything so egregiously wrong as this, it came from the Trump administration.

I totally agree I’d love to see them add more of their homegrown themes along with all the licenses. FWIW, the game is getting LEGO City Undercover (based on the WiiU game, of course, but that in turn was based on the classic “daily life” LEGO City theme).
I don’t regret that at all. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a fine show, a source of inspiration and joy. The Kardashians don’t make anywhere near the same positive contribution to society, as far as I can tell.
Michelle Obama is a national treasure.
As a fan of the show myself, I find that immensely disappointing. It’s a show that, like Star Trek, I like to think of as embodying and encouraging all these positive values of the sort I don’t see in the Republican platform, and I want to think that of course fans of the show embody decency, diversity, etc., but I…
This is a story that illustrates the potential danger a black man faces while playing this game that a white man does not. What happened to the officers in Dallas is terrible and inexcusable, but not relevant to this article’s subject. Moreover, this incident notwithstanding, I doubt white police officers are killed…
I actually liked E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial quite a lot back in the day, when it was new, and I didn’t really hear much about it (good or bad) for a long time. It was actually years before I learned it was widely considered terrible.
So, you want them to charge you a regular game price and then just give you hundreds of physical LEGO pieces for free?
Also, apparently you get actual LEGO with the packs. Imagine that!
Oooh, you make me want to watch that movie again.
But saying that still doesn't make it true. He's gliding, and falling; nothing in that sequence suggests that he can take off in propelled, controlled flight. One might as well complain about him flying if someone picks him up and throws him.
No Thundercats, but they do have all the others you list, plus Legends of Chima (probably what you thought was Thundercats), NinjaGo, Back to the Future, Doctor Who, Ghostbusters, Jurassic World, Midway Arcade, Portal, Scooby-Doo, The Simpsons, and The Wizard of Oz. Fourteen franchises and LEGO themes in total (to…
Whoa, whoa, whoa, hang on a minute -
Ratatouille utterly wowed me when I first saw it, and I think it remains the single Pixar movie whose appeal is most overwhelmingly geared toward adults rather than kids. It’s actually the one I’ve seen theatrically the most times (10 times on the big screen for me), though I wouldn’t now say it’s the best, simply…
Starring for your second sentence, not necessarily your first. All four movies are damn great.
I've never played a Final Fantasy game, so I know there's tons of stuff I don't know about this franchise, but I'm really intrigued. Why have fans called for a remake of this particular title for so long?
Playable Ewoks and Wookiees both would be great. Why not have both?
Well, there’s one more, but it’s a tough one to get - extra-Cheery (with bricks for two different super-happy expressions), given away in limited quantities at San Diego Comic-Con last year. It’ll cost you if you want it... :/
I got to briefly fly a Starfury around when Sierra had reps demo’ing the then-forthcoming Babylon 5 flightsim at Dragon*Con in 1998. The game wasn’t finished, but what I saw of it was remarkable, with ships that looked and felt just like the ones in the show. The game was later cancelled, and I feel privileged to have…
Why couldn't you use the minifigures in this with the rest of your LEGO? They're not permanently attached to the bases, though a lot of commenters on this story seem to think they are.
