No doubt software is part of the problem, but the bigger issue I think is that the software was only looking at data from one AoA sensor.  Redundancy is such a HUGE thing in aviation, I can’t believe this got OK’d for production with only one input.

I recall reading somewhere else that most or all of American’s MAX fleet was based in Miami, so it could definitely have an effect on that one area but may not be felt in a lot of other areas of the country.

Modeled after the cartoon cars that are always on the local classic car club’s fliers...

The person that won the NV200 should probably bring it to CarMax, Carvana, etc. Since he won the van, he’s still making out pretty good if he’s able to unload it quickly for $14-15k without any warranty liability or hassle.

The workmanship looks pretty good on it! The custom bed sides, the recessed Mercedes logo in the tailgate, the overall proportions... I like it. And I like their choice of color, too...

Grandma might not, but it’s possible that she lives near a charging station since there are more and more of them being built. And by 2021/2022, when two of the world’s largest car manufacturers are cranking out EVs in large numbers, it’ll make more sense for more companies to invest in adding even more chargers, like

I’d be interested in seeing how these compare to Wendy’s, McDonald’s or BK nuggets. This was helpful though... although at home we usually do chicken tenders or strips instead of nuggets, and usually by Purdue.

The feud is bitter, which immediately gives it more flavor than any of the beer being spoken about in the suit itself.

The Telluride, much like the Atlas, feels absolutely gargantuan inside. I can’t imagine needing a vehicle that’s larger unless I had six kids... and honesly, I love my wife but if she told me she was having sextuplets I think I’d be on the next flight out of the country.

As someone who also lives in MA, I see a ton of Teslas and there are quite a few coal-rolling douchenozzles in the area (there’s even a club!) but I haven’t seen or heard of any instances of ICE-ing like that Jalopnik article talked about either.

1st Gear: GM Appeases Trump, Ramps Up EV Production in Michigan”

VW is footing the bill for a lot of it through their subsidiary Electrify America. By the end of this year they plan to have 900 charging locations with about 5,000 charging ports, and according to their website they have plans to continue investing in charging infrastructure through 2021 and beyond.

I had the chance to check this out up close at the Chicago Auto Show and it’s a really impressive vehicle. TONS of room, interior quality was great, and the styling is sharp, too (especially in that mossy green color).

It’s about the same size as Explorer or maybe a little bigger. The Expedition is still bigger though.

I LOL’d. This is a joke I would have expected the Top Gear/Grand Tour guys to make.

The beak, the generally awkward proportions, the ass way up in the air... it looks like an unfinished concept car.

I’m sure no matter what parents do or say, kids will always be embarrassed by them, so you might as well have fun with it and amuse yourself!

I definitely have misophonia, although it seems to have gotten better in some instances over the years.

Pretend it’s a Roman numeral V, like the X in iPhone X.
