I’m willing to bet they throw the word “fabrication” around a lot, too, because it makes them feel like the guys on TV. But they have fabricated a turd out of a functioning, desirable automobile.

I think it’s interesting that the driver’s side header faces forward. I wish we had a shot from underneath just to see what else they modified/destroyed to get this thing to work. This whole car looks like a mix tape of bad ideas.

I wouldn’t want this car if it was free. Tons of little clues to the questionable craftsmanship involved in its creation, like the kink in the fuel filler hose or the haphazard placement of the battery. What else didn’t they think through all the way, the brakes?

Easy decision. Alf and I are like bros, so our relationship has to remain strictly platonic.

I think what’s happened here is that GM wants to avoid as many regulatory hurdles as possible to be able to get these on the road. The lack of human controls is a big enough obstacle on its own.

This is great! I honestly never keep up with WRC, although I love watching old rally clips and enjoy any rally features built into console games.

I’m definitely cool (or at least, so my mom says...) but I’m nowhere near Detroit. Hopefully you guys do one near Boston some time. There are a couple of great karting tracks not too far from there, including one that’s outdoors. Maybe wait until May or June for that one though...

I’m indifferent on the car itself, but that shade of blue is excellent, especially with the blacked out wheels and grille.

The Mazda 6 is already a great car, and the refresh and bigger motor put it at the top of my shopping list when my lease is up later this year. Can’t wait to see it in person!

2nd Gear - If we’re all supposed to buy weird crossovers, why doesn’t Citroen sell the Cactus here? Seems like the perfect opportunity to enter the market. They’re pretty cool in person, and definitely weird.

A 20 minute response time from the PD? Where was the officer when he got the call, Greensboro? Or are they just so used to “truck hits bridge” calls that they don’t bother hurrying anymore?

Even if F1's streaming service doesn’t start up yet, you can probably still call your cable provider and tell them to suck it. Hulu Live is like half the cost of cable, and even less if you don’t add on HBO, and all of the ESPN channels are included (well, except The Ocho...)

The title of this article sounds like someone trying to describe a porno in non-porno terms...

Not a Chrysler Cross-fire?

This sounds like it could be the premise for a new Home Alone remake. Kevin, all grown up, plans a vacation with his family to Europe for Christmas, only to get turned away at the airport. Except now that he has kids he’s excited to have the house to himself and get some God-damned peace and quiet for once.

As far as midsize sedans go, the Fusion is one of the best ones on the market. A wagon variant (or the hatchback version that Europe also gets) would really make it special though. Just because the segment is shrinking doesn’t mean Ford has to see a proportionate decrease in sales. I think they should bring the wagon

It’s relatively easy to find ‘15 and ‘16 models, loaded with under 30k miles, for $15-20k. Definitely a bargain...

I remember the first time I test-drove a car with cooled seats. The salesman was excited for me to try them out, then said “Okay, so at first it’s going to feel like you peed yourself a little bit...”

Four things:

If the “key” is an app, how do you valet it? Do you have to leave your device with the valet? Is there a separate traditional fob for such an occasion?
