As a GT86 owner I am not someone who mod cars or race them. I just love to drive, and this car allows me to really enjoy driving without the fear of “over-driving” it because it’s not an exotic. That said, no one really buys it for creature comforts. The version we get here has dual climatic control and heated seats

I am not really a resin model hobbyist but every time I see those Tamiya model kits I really want to buy them all, not because I want the build models, but I just love the illustrations on the boxes. If I can purchase John’s work, it will end up in picture frames. But seriously, Tamiya should hire him to do a series

It all depends on how brave you are!

Here we have tiny cargo vans. I once saw a tiny van pass a Smart on the freeway without having to change lanes. The Smart just moved to the right of the lane and the van just went around it. Coolest thing I’ve ever seen on the road! I guess while considered a boring econo box, it still can do cool stuff.

How interesting that this article comes out just right after we held a workshop with a car-industry related company where we sort to create ideal scenario for future car users. However I noticed that most of the focus of such “future scenario” for cars are placed on technology, such as interactive interface,

That’s actually based on the GM tech center in Warren Michigan.

Most of these are drivers annoying people with loud exhaust. In a way I am glad that my stock 86 has nothing to annoy people with in that department.

Even if the tires are indeed slashed on purpose, that person did her a favor by saving her ass. Tire blow out while doing 60mph on the freeway will be a serious endangerment to all the innocent folks who she’s gonna hit.

Nah I don’t think this is appropriate. What would you think if your boss has a system that records your desktop(computer) all the time, or places a CCTV at your desk to record you all day long? I think this will actually increase the chance of cops making the wrong judgment call when it matters.

Few years ago I worked on an in-car Police DVR that stores the recording of onboard cameras. The case featured a lock that can’t be undone by the cop. In another words, the police officer involved does not have the authority or ability to temper with the video evidence. I personally think that the same should apply to

So its basically sponge in circular form? Can you imagine hitting a dog poop with that? All the splatter yet you can’t just hose it down cus all the filth is trapped within. I am working on a tire related project and all these concepts from Goodyear, Hankook and Michelin doesn’t make any sense, even from concept

Well he has this guy as an inspiration!

The only mod I have done to my GT86 is to replace its horn with something more beefy. Seriously, it’s embarrassing when you have to show some presence with a squeaky toy.

That said, on my wish list is to have a mirror under the rear windshield that can be mechanically raised, so when the idiot behind me is on high beam

I put PS4 tires on my stock 86 and I have to try really really hard to make sounds with the tires. All these “upgrades” on the BRZ ts is only for feels and looks.

I think this will be more relevant to autonomous vehicles since human isn’t at the wheel to proactively notice changes in road conditions. Any censor technology for such scenario is good I guess.

I think the “terrorist” and thief are different people. The terrorist has been arrested. The thief hasn’t.

I was driving my 86 with my mom aboard on the freeway and a modded 86 passed me with big-ass wing and angry exhaust node. I woke my napping mom up and told her that’s a modded version of my car (which is completely stock except for a more beefy sounding horn). Her immediate response was,”That’s so ugly!” It was at

Meh I don’t think drawing an asymmetric design is “hard”, mostly because in car design, once you have the 4 wheels down, the proportion is always symmetrical. As long as you have the proportion nailed down, everything is just “add-on”. So an asymmetrical design will be a car that has asymmetrical proportion, not just

I was in Germany last summer and my rental car had winter tires on, and I noticed that many rental cars in Germany have winter tires on for the wrong season as well. I think the rental companies are either too lazy, or cost too much to keep summer tires for the cars so they just have winter tires all year round. After

How her your passion, but for the reason of showing her that she can have her own passion.
