From a design perspective, this makes no sense, but from a communication perspective, this is very nicely done. For those who didn't get the message, it's saying that you'd rather be riding a bicycle than a wheel chair, so get up and move your ass(stay healthy) while you can.

JUST MAKE THE WHOLE MOVIE DAMNIT!!!!!

I'd think that Memorial Day is to commemorate soldiers, not a day where we have them perform for our own entertainment.

May be I am getting old, but I find students' work nowadays harder and harder to understand. It looks like an orgy of random parts, like a Michael Bay transformer. There's no over all gesture or a theme. I had to look really hard to figure out that it's basically an open wheel car with two side panels. Seriously WTF?!

Well, using a ping pong table as a desk is no brainer. Actually, a good regulation table tennis table costs quite a bit more than a decent desk. I don't really know what's so special about this design other than looking like something that someone will put an Apple Macbook Pro on just to complete the picture.

These are cool and all, but they all seem really cold and unapproachable. Here's one that puts a smile on my face. It's a bus stop in the rural part of east coast Taitung, Taiwan. Kids here have never heard of Lego, but to see a Spongebob bus stop painted by the locals really livened this little quiet spot of planet

Stakeholders come in various forms. Some want to sell more of them, some want the design to be easier for their facilities to manufacture them(instead of upgrading the facilities' capabilities), which may result in severe design compromises. Some (those who wants to sell cars) want to dumb down a design so it doesn't

I want to say that no designer will want to design crappy designs. Trust me, only the best of the best get to be hired as car designers. The problem lies in the decision makers. Like pretty much every industry, the ones making decisions are usually not the expert. Go figure.

Bad air, exhaust fume etc. A 20min ride and try wiping your face with a wet towel paper. You'd be surprised. I wear a full face helmet, so it's not as bad.

Maintaining a steady pace is about making your movement predictable. "Assumption" is what keeps traffic flowing and accident free. Breaking prediction therefore is recipe for disaster. I drive and ride in Taipei. As a car driver, you are the bullied one on the road, by scooters, because in an accident involving both,

In the comics, the cars are hand drawn, which do look much better than in animation.

Well this is not bad at all. The worst is in China. In China, drivers(not scooter riders) hit their accelerators harder when they see a pedestrian crossing the road.

Here's my guess. Back in the days, B&D made tools for all occasions. It then introduced the DeWALT brand as its professional tools after a failed attempt in crafting the professional image with its own. With time, the market distinction between B&D and DeWALT becomes greater and therefore B&D has transformed itself

First they took the aperture ring away from camera lens, and now this?????????

Well, this is exactly what I thought when I saw the 918 spyder. It's not the fastest of the 3 hyper hybrids, and possible the least exciting in terms of being a hypercar as well. Beating the Nring in sub 7min seems to be the common denominator for hyper cars anyways, so it's not going to be impressive anymore.

Someone please build a replica of this.... just because!

By sedan you mean 4 doors with a traditional trunk lid? Yes to me it's the pussy of all compromises. People are too conservative to think about buying anything else. I personally prefer hatch cars. I don't want to say "hatch back" because that automatically means cars like the Golf. I do like hatch backs, but I like

And also, if you remove the wheels off any normal bicycle and lower the seat, it's going to be as wide as an umbrella. That's really not something to brag about for a bicycle design.

Even the frame doesn't really fold into an umbrella size. That photo is misleading.

Thank you very much!!!
