The big motivation to get kids to move is through other kids. Group games, sports etc. Giving the kid a watch and expect him to "move like a crap" without the need to involve others is really silly, and quite sad IMO. It's like the "make me feel better about myself" watch for the unpopular kid.

The voice command is interesting. Any source that I can refer to? I am curious on how the system is set up, whether the system needs to have to be set up to recognize certain voices to be effective etc.

Put it in car terms, I'd want to be driving a stick shift rather than a paddle shift because I am more "involved", not just in terms of controlling the car, but having to think far more ahead forces me to be more aware of the situation as well as my decisions. I guess the logic doesn't apply to avionics. When the

I guess another way to describe it is "old school"?

Question: How does it compare to Soviet jet fighters? The SU-35/37 seem to be quite a beast.

So an entire parade of Lambos showed up and only gave ONE kid a ride? Seriously? If the whole neighborhood of kids each got a ride in the Lambos, that will not only make the kid his day, but probably the rest of his childhood as the most popular kid in the neighborhood!

I'd sooooooooooo want a real patch of lawn like that in my miserable urban home.... but nothing takes my comfy toilet away from me! Not even a fresh patch of lawn!

Awesome! Let's pull the hand brake and do some drifts!!!! Oh wait, you will just become an unstoppable hamster trapped on its tumbling wheel. Still, funny though!

May be it's just me, but Aston Martin has lost its appeal, the kind of WOAH and admiration and finesse when James Bond "reintroduced" the brand with the Vanquish. Ever since, they all look the same to me, in a bad way, that they don't stir up more emotions nor has the intricacy of their designs been elevated. To me

I guess I am going to be the one to talk about the non-photography aspect of this camera. It's a sexy looking camera! Alright I am not saying that it's sexy because of curves, or whether it's really sexy. However, in a market where retro is abused and over used in the name of "good design", I really hope this simple

Well thanks folks for the replies. I was thinking 1. If it's controlled by first person view via onboard camera, the darkness will mean pitch black and super bad image quality to use to navigate. 2. The drone will be just a tiny dot in the sky against the darkness, plus the distractions from the fireworks and the

How do you navigate the air craft in the dark?

This seems like the ultimate autonomous driving that we've seen in sci-fi movies where cars move by itself in a controlled grid, without the need of traffic lights and so on. Except when the power goes out, we will have another of the Atlanta snow storm incident.

You guys print 3D books?

Ok there's all these buzz about P1 vs 918 and it's quite obvious that the P1 is the faster car. However to me, the 918 is the more successful car. Put it this way, anyone can make a really fast car hybrid or not (Look at the One:1), but to do it with 78mpg? THAT'S GROUND BREAKING! So let's think about "win". McLaren

Was he just trying to be sarcastic or was Jay "heel and toeing" without a clutch pedal? Can I heel and toe in a semi-auto car?

I wonder if his steady hands are a match for brain surgeon's?

Or rather self destruction to avoid being captured by hostile party.

It LOOKS like a race car, and damn bloody good at looking like a race car. Well to me, it's like the B-2 of war planes, while F1 cars are supposed to be like a F-22 or something, except it now sounds more like a A-10.

urgh.....!!!!! This shoe-size design strategy is really pathetic. Seriously, I thought they made another version of the CLA when I saw the first photos.
