But at that point, it’s less a disability and more a weird aesthetic choice on the part of the character.

I agree with you on Synæs. The blindness is too much of a hindrance on game play to be fun. I was thinking the character sees thru the eyes of the dog. Which could offer two modes, one where the dog is by your side and you can move freely with his guidance. The other would be him detaching from you to search ahead to

The world has shown itself to be beyond physical wheels in vehicle design. I don’t know what the state of weaponry is in the general OW universe (crossbows are still used today in many contemporary armies), but I know they are beyond the physical wheel in just about as many applicable places I can think to look

If it were a shooter, and it succeeded at it, that’s one way to make a fun, successful game. However, it seems Blizzard is placing greater value on making a fun, successful game through attracting players with a variety of non-genre-specific skills, and that’s a legitimate effort to undertake.

I think Overwatch has always attempted to market itself as “not just a shooting game”.

It was never purely a shooting game, but a teambased, first-person, competitive, arena brawler. Don’t forget there is also melee.

I am glad you are not a developer at Blizzard then because that was one of the main thing they were trying to do, bring in diffrent controm schemes and characters that you could be good with no matter if you had pro aim and not.

I mean it’s a hero shooter inspired by mobas, they have characters like reinhardt and brigitte that have melee weapons, winston with AOE, projectile characters, and auto locks like moira and symm. It’s not NOT shooting game, just look at soldier 76, widow and mccree. But it’s not exclusively an FPS either.

Who said it is a “shooting game”?

Reinhardt, Winston, and Brigette don’t have to aim either. Don’t be a jerk.

“Mains” would be more accurate because the game is built around switching to counter or picking what a situation calls for. I will sometimes go AFK for about 15-20 seconds between deaths because I’m looking at the roster and figuring what the other team is not equipped to deal with at the moment.

She is the highest sustained DPS in the game once her M1 charges up. Good Sym players hide until team fight happens and charge up the beam on tanks and melt squishies in under 2 seconds.

Is losing her that hard? If you’re not dealing with the turrets, pretty much everyone either outdamages her or has some ability that makes escaping her trivial.

Imagine AC and Witcher 3 had a drunken one night stand and 9 months later a baby was born made up of the best parts of both games. That is what Origins feels like to play. Atleast, it was to me.

Pretty different from the origin (bam dum tss) of the serie actually. Not so much hiding in this game. Well you can always parkour you way around, hiding from sights, but there’s no hidden in plain sight mechanics. There’s no following objective from a distance. Combat is now a fully fledge battle system with combos,

Taking my time with playing this, since it’s probably the last piece of content that we’ll get for Origins, and after ~130 hours of playing the game I still can’t get enough of it.

I read it more as the Vancouver or Northwest U.S. coast—-albeit still rural, abandoned beach areas, just of the temperate rain forest type. Although apparently Jeff VanderMeer has spent a lot of time, and currently lives, in Florida, so the tropical feel might actually be more accurate to his intentions than either of

Why don’t you question the media site you are currently commenting on then, because according to this article talking about it is a non-starter because reasons..

Whatever else happens today, it’s now been a good weekend.

Alex Garland has such a wonderful imagination for visual presentation. I went into Ex Machina with no expectations, and was surprised to find a tight, compact, hypnotically-paced thriller with the most striking use of visual effects I’ve seen in some time.
