As a Chicagoan, I really wish they’d let this go. Yeah, the man lied. We all know this. This lie did him no favors. Fine his ass, and let it go. Shit like this distracts from the fact that a person’s odds of getting away with murder in the city of Chicago is greater than 50%. Put some time and resources towards that!

Thank you! Let’s not encourage this type of behavior. White folks aren’t deputized by their skin color. They have no innate authority to interrogate folks, yet many them think they do.

All while conveniently ignoring that, historically, white folks are both socially and legislatively the most homophobic community in this country. But, why not continue the centuries-old trend of making black people the scapegoat for everything. 

They also want black viewership and fandom, and we’re unfortunately too willing to give them both despite the inequities.

Tragic all around. I feel particularly sad for Nick’s brother who, if I’m reading this correctly, is now both an orphan and dealing with the loss of a sibling. This entire family has been weighed down by the heavy cloud of drug abuse, and it’s a damn shame.
