If you can describe what I was doing as “Caping for steam”, then that fits your actions as well. There isn’t really a debate about that. I’m not “On Steams side”, i’m on the customers side. It happens, that at this current moment, that means Steam looks better.

No title on steam is exclusive through contract like Epic store. Lying isn’t convincing.

You do realize I’m not on valves side either here and have also raised valid points in contrast that have gone ignored and all you’re doing is jumping on to further ignore arguments and dogpile as a person? Where’s the discussion about the fees? How’s its better for he consumer? Oh gone so you can act like you have

That is a pathetic metric to measure it on and I don’t agree with it at any level. But you say it is, and you sound like an expert... wait no you’re just a dude like me acting like oh have all the answers.

They are NOT passing on those savings to the consumer.

Well for one, any and all DLC for the game is now going to be fragmented across multiple platforms, and that complicates things for the end user without any actual benefit. How will Steam work with Epic copies exactly? Yes, there will be “Cross play”, that doesn’t really change the user experience is now “locked off”

But what about this move benefits the consumer?

So, you’re anticonsumer then? Why “Fuck steam users”? Millions of steam users bought Rocket League, and gave Psyonix money. It’ll still work on Steam, but this is anti consumer to it’s core.

Can someone, anyone, please explain to me as a customer how this is good for the customer?

No, you don’t.

Valve spent money advertising this game. They bundled their Steam Controllers with it, and other things as well.

“if I don’t agree with you, you’re just a dumb redditor” lol

Oh so if my wife gets rich in a few years while I’ve been breaking my back to keep her supported in the here and now, I’m entitled to her money?

Well at least you get paid to turn this diatribe of literally nothing but your own personal feelings into something resembling a column.

I do love how you felt I was so off base to comment, despite not offering any significant, or new arguments against my statement.

Gaming is an incredibly fucked up industry and it abuses Devs and customers for the benefit of publishers like EPIC. I fail to see how you’re doing anything but arguing for more corporate influence and more corporate shilling.

Why do you people assume that publishers wouldn’t get a bigger cut?

Considering you’ve behaved in the same way all redpilled redditors seem to, for someone who’s so, secure with their programming? You sure are a common type of pedant.

I don’t know but these comment sections are full of miserable shits going at it, so it’s working!

No, I didn’t say that. Work on your reading comprehension. I don’t think you could even remotely find “perfectly happy” in my statement there.
