The solutions are clearly obvious... You worded everything so well, I love it.

I’ve recently realized that most of those companies have made money or were built with those shit behaviors, so I get the feeling that there is something they feel like they will lose. They just don’t have the courage to lose it or/and talk

It’s simply weird at this point. There goes a couple of my past heroes, Warren Ellis and Chris Avellone, into the pit of my Hell. Twitch, a construct I highly respect, houses sexual predators and that the gaming industry, one I’m highly attracted to, is horrible when it comes to it’s general sense of human rights.

“You also may be tempted to use a mask with a fancy-looking valve. The problem with these valves is they filter the air you breathe in but not out.”

As funny as this meme is, most of the time presenters are dusted with powder makeup to remove natural skin oil shine. If they recorded at home, which is likely, they probably didn’t have the necessary makeup artist on-site to prep them for the recording, so they end up looking shiny.  We all look shiny, we just have

Oh, for the sake of biblical knowledge.

It’s a “vote with your wallet” scenario. Personally, I see nothing wrong with making the game fans want; it’s marketing suicide to upend a series’ aesthetic this far in.

Oh god, the uphill battle the Japanese companies face is insane. Americans can be staggeringly entitled and toxic gremlins, but full blown old-school otaku take it to a whole different level of creepy stalker psychopathy.

Fighting games are caught in a vicious feedback loop - over the years they’ve built up a following that is almost entirely composed of awful trash people, and so to compete within the genre, they have to cater to awful trash people.

I’m all for historical accuracy, but there’s a thin line to realism where a dev has to consider things like my character needing to go to the bathroom and sleep or going into battles that actually took place in ancient Japan, fighting giant enemy crabs and hitting their weak points for massive damage.

Looks like you never stopped. Maybe try mentally growing up passed 14 too.

thank you.

She has savings and is still working from home. She wouldn’t risk their financial future just to buy a Switch. She was able to afford it. The girl wanted one last year, but she waited until they had more cash and until the girl was a bit older and would enjoy some of the more complex games.

She didn’t already learn that for her party being cancelled and being forced into quarantine for the foreseeable future?

She is currently stuck inside everyday, doesn’t get to see her friends or relatives, had her party canceled and is scared of whats going on right now.

She’s a child in quarantine, she's already getting denied access to friends, let her have some happiness.

I personally had to deal with this mess. A friend of mine has a little girl and wanted to buy her a Switch for her birthday. She was finally old enough to really enjoy having her own console. OF COURSE her birthday landed in this terrible time. We tried to help her find one for retail price but it was impossible.

Yep—especially given asymptomatic and minimal symptomatic transmission risk, where you can be personally unaware you are a carrier, the risk of killing people you know is the much bigger risk. You’re 100% correct.

In short: there aren’t real heroes in war. Or rather, the real heroes are the ones fighting for their (and their loved ones’) lives, not the ones calling the shots.

Sony and Microsoft could have put GameStop out of business seven years ago with one simple policy:

Life in Aggro is sooooo close to home with this one. I’m trans, bulimic, and an abuse survivor so my self image is utterly trash. I ask my wife about 10 times a week if I look normal. Usually she has some sarcastic goofy response. Last night she outright told me no, she’d had a couple of drinks.
