The impeachment was impossible from the start, but it absolutely wasn’t pointless. It showed, with irrefutable documentation, exactly what the Republicans are. They won’t lose this stigma. Ever.

And it would have been a pointless delay anyway. They could have had a thousand eye witnesses with video, and the Republicans would have voted the same way.

There was a literal coup attempt led by the sitting President of the United States, by a crowd of rednecks whipped into a frenzy in part by some bored rando on 4chan.

Schadenfreude is fine when the subject deserves so much worse.

Said it before, and I’ll say it again: I’d never get into EVE Online, but reading about it is endlessly fascinating.

To be fair, Trump has never understood how human beings work. Full stop. I would say you’d actually have to *be* a human being to understand how we work, but fucking cats are ten times better at manipulating us than him.

They had a worse problem than fans; shareholders. The last delay caused their stock value to drop. I’d bet money on pressure from the board being the reason for the crunch, and it still wasn’t enough.
