It would turn the bot lobbies into ghost towns and they know it. Unless the bots fill up empty spaces, then you’d get maps that are almost all bots.

It’s a “vote with your wallet” scenario. Personally, I see nothing wrong with making the game fans want; it’s marketing suicide to upend a series’ aesthetic this far in. Iroha is an established character as well. So I’m glad she wasn’t changed.

Japanese fighting games anyway. Western ones can fare a bit better, but they tend to have a wider audience to begin with (See Mortal Kombat).

And it REALLY doesn’t work in fighting games. Just see Dead or Alive 6 vs. Soul Calibur VI.

I think a big issue with this game is that in all the previous (Bethesda/Obsidian) Fallout games, you go from “random schmuck” to “most important person in this part of the country” over the course of the game.
