Possible. My hope, if cloning is involved, is that Palpatine just found her on Jakku and either cloned her and it’s the clone that has the red sabers, or that Rey IS the clone and the original is the one that got posessed.
Important in this case means “Important to the story”. That everybody with a force hero role in these movies must be related to someone else that has come before them in the story. That it’s impossible to just randomly run into someone else who is also blessed with a strong connection to the force.
