Might be a bit late to comment lol, but there is a cheap app called iSpeech that I use myself. I’m mute, but I can hear, so I looked long and hard for the best tts app for short sentence typing and that is it. Plus the voices sound very natural.

I can imagine. Me, I got into it because of Valkyrie Profile. I know their version kind of blended Norse myth with the Three Fates, but still, I’ve been enamored with Valkyries ever since.
