A friend of mine had her wallet stolen at the check in desk at LAX circa 2009. We got through the line no problem after she gave her brother's name and phone number and they called him to verify her identity. I was shocked how easy peasy it was. You could easily scam a ticket this way.

I do the same with my husband especially on fly days (we both fly in the navy), and I just found out in pregnant with my first so the anxiety is already increasing. I'm sure I'll be the same with my kids.

Agreed. I'm a statement earrings type. Bracelets are uncomfortable and I've never liked necklaces on me.

Highly recommend Dr. Faust’s interview on Freakonomics a week and a half ago. Really inspiring story; including a letter about segregation in schools she sent to President Eisenhower at the age of 5 that is in his Presidential library now!
