Do you think it's impossible to like Proust and say so without looking pretentious? Why? What makes every mention of Proust in any situation pretentious? Do you think there could be a situation when mentioning the man or his works is warranted?

But you're right, she's the pretentious one...(oh that was sarcasm by the way, since obviously you won't pick up on that yourself)

She was being facetious and poking fun at pop music today. Nothing quite as pretentious as someone misunderstanding a joke and using that as an excuse to go off on an unintelligent tangent though amirite?

No Grimes is so amazing! I agree she's incredibly pretentious but I think she's very genuine. She says Britney (Spears, as if I had to specify) is her greatest inspiration, and I think that renders her invincible to criticism.

You're right. You're the real expert on Proust.

Grimes is a woman.

If we're talking about songs that are too long, someone please explain MacArthur Park to me. Did someone leave cake at the park? Why was it in the rain? And why is this topic so emotional that it requires more than 7 minutes to lament? I need answers!

Little meth friends. I shouldn't laugh, but I did.

I think we're forgetting someone ..huge here.

That's all I'M sayin'. It's not like she's wrong. And Rich talks a great deal of shit (I find it an honor that I was blocked by him on the Twitternetz. lol), so people using his "love" as proof that Gawker is here for Azealia is gawt-damb travesty.

Azelia reminds me of kanye in that, what she says might be mean, but it's the truth.

I can't wait until the day that Kat Dennings is on a show or in a movie I'd actually want to watch.

I don't know what it says about me that when I see/hear about Farrah A., I just picture James Deen fuckin' her butt.

Not gonna lie, I thought that picture of Steven Tyler was Beyonce at first glance.

what bublé said about his baby is great — i wish more moms/dads who had that experience would share it. the whole "as soon as i looked into my baby's eyes, it was the most overwhelming love i've ever felt/the whole world made sense/nothing else mattered" narrative is quaint and all, but it isn't the experience

THE CHEW HAD THE MOST EXCITING PREMIERE OF ALL TIME.

No, it was clear before you joined the thread, and was instantly explained to you by several people that are not me, meaning it was clear to them without any clarification on my part. In fact, I never did "clarify", that's why I can rely on everyone else on the thread to assure me that I wasn't unclear: they got it

First of all, no the problem is not that I didn't explain myself clearly enough. See everyone else on the thread for exhibits A-Z to support that point. But secondly, the rest of your argument is spiraling into ridiculousness. You think that the gardener at your job knows the name Cara Delevigne but not Jourdan

Beverly Johnson is an icon. She was the first black model to ever be on the cover of Vogue.
