This isn't really a troll bait article though. Look at Toshi Nakamaru's articles on Kotaku, they're pretty free of snark and flamebaiting as he just talks about how the topical game makes him feel.

Isn't the reason that Apple 'casual' gaming is popular because it's not a dedicated gaming device?

An iPhone is your phone, which also happens to play games. The moment you go out of your way to attach something to it, it stops being a phone but a gaming device.

This is the kind of thing Steven Jobs didn't want. Steve

The Wii-U

I enjoy Dark Souls and Dark Souls, and the XIII series too. I'm looking forward to XIII-3 and what elements they've adapted from Dark Souls.

You just sound like a dick.

VAGRANT STORY

That's just how Cerberus talks in current SMT games:

Devil Summoner 2:

It's Capcom, so they'll have a western developer do it and Ryu will be a bearded 40 year old trucker and Nina is the dark elf prostitute he meets at the gas station.

Like a gigantic Ninja Star Grenade

God damn, it was so fun to wallbounce and just kill a guy you can't even see with it. Really fantastic game.

It's about time Japanese authors started making money from their gigantic popularity in the world's biggest consumer of manga and anime.

I disagree. The combat is responsive and slick, you have to time your attacks to your weapon's properties and the monster's attack patterns.

It's a solid game with in depth gameplay.

Yeah,
Japan's been making games for the global market for decades. I feel like it's around the time the Xbox came out that this regionalism really flared out. I remember when SNES RPG's were just called RPG's, not "Jay Arr Pee Geez" dangit!

Lost Planet 2 was a really fun game with FANTASTIC capcom designs.

Japanese people also play Dynasty Warriors all the time, so some 'mindless' slaughtering of mooks is always popular!

What Capcom really needs to do is sell Monster Hunter to the Dark Souls crowd

"Prepare to get your ass kicked" as a central slogan, emphasize that yes, this game has a learning curve, because it has actual depth in gameplay beyond "your numbers get biggar". Add a social element of seeing highlight reels of failed hunts

Luke, the game you're looking for is Secret of Mana:

Yes, and some senior Japanese military officials also recognized the acitons of the Japanese military as inhumane.

Such as Colonel Kanji Ishiwara

Chinese captions included on their OFFICIAL video?

China is the world's largest consumer of anime/manga purely by viral/pirated means. Pretty much everyone I know whose in the animation/illustration industry loves Japanese shows/movies/games.

Hot dang, I hope this means Japanese companies are focusing more on the

"Man, Japan is over. We're done. Our game industry is finished."

Keiji Inafune is the Uncle Ruckus of the games industry. Always putting down his own people and ignoring the successes of other Japanese in his self flagellation.
