Dear America, why do you hate Volvo?

dayum, that's badass dude. I can't cook nothing lol :] except cereal lol

That's a Rover P5B, not a P6.

I agree shouldn't be on the list. It's been updated technology wise twice and carries all the same goodies the current S60 and other P3 platform cars have so its not for a lack of equipment. It doesn't look bad either. I think its a more understated and handsome car than almost all of its competitors.

It looks like the C pillar starts about midway of the rear wheel-well. Does that line up with the profile view of the Monte Carlo? Consider a Pontiac Sunfire or Grand Prix. Could also be a Chrysler Sebring. Around the early 2000s. It also appears like it might have a cab-forward design, which would put it solidly in

In the enlarged pic above, I can almost see the reflector / parking lamp on the front right. Also, there appears to be something right in front of back wheel. The Monte Carlo is looking right.

This was my first thought as well. It's either a Chrysler K-body or a GM A-body.

Actually, now I am not sure. Looking at the full photo, it looks as if there is a severe line of distortion running through where the front and rear door would meet. I am going back to a Lumina sedan.

You might be on it with the bubbly 2 door.

It's definitely a two door and the LeBaron is pretty spot-on.

It is a two door.

Buick Riviera?

Well, if you're a bit old-fashioned, get one while you can!

Agreed. We have a V70 of that vintage. one of the best family haulers you could have bought. sad they dont bring them to the US anymore.

The problem I have with that suggestion is that Ford, the same company, offered this in 1985, the Ford Scorpio (Granada in the UK):

They drive good and all but it needs to go. We have a couple 2012's still in our inventory. Those in particular were $7000 off "Red Tag specials" Sold in the very low $30K's well equipped.

It looks like Nissan was inspired by renowned car innovator Daewoo when they designed that grille.
