Yeah, some of the tests are doubtful, but I believe those quoted are possible. Cars like the Fiat 500 Twinair and the Subaru diesel has a higher mpg than the official tests, and some have lower. My dads V70 D2 does roughly 50 MPG when he drives it, as an example.

I didn't insist, but all of the materials can't come from recycling. And all of the materials doesn't have to be made for that car only. Still, it's resources that are better used somewhere else.

You have to consider what car it is. If you want a Volvo RWD, 200+ hp is acceptable for a project car. More hp is always easy to get, regardless of the engine being a Ford V8 or a B230FT/FK.

Any Volvo with that front and 200+ power is really interesting, and this looks like a good build. Not very expensive either. NP

They get roughly the same milage, but the basic petrols and diesels can be produced in the same factory as the rest of the car. The hybrids need batteries that both require mining of rare earth elements, transport, producing and then transportation to the car factory. And cargo ships are rarely very friendly to the

WHAT??? The Opel Meriva?!?!?!? That's about the saddest european car ever produced, except for the OPC-version..

I'll just drop this here

I really don't get hybrids. They're not as friendly to the (global) environment as a modern diesel or petrol, they're boring to drive, boring to look at, and not really good in any way. So why buy one? Why do they have to make a hybrid version? Because smarter people want to make money off stupid people? I think so..

I'm hoping that my old Volvo will do the trick, although that's a 142, not a PV..

I know, but so what? Peugeot's on the list, as well as Lada and that China thing. They don't sell cars in America either..

Do you know what they are doing now? Investigate, because I have no idea.

So, where is Suzuki? No new models for a long time, and the models they have is outdated, boring and not very good in the first place. I have no idea how they even make money these days..

While their motorcycles are quite cool, Suzuki's cars are the most boring and old on the market today.

It's a cool little car, rear-engine too. I also found a video of one of these rallying:

Skoda 100-series (probably called 130RS this one), popular car for rallying back in the day. The car on the right is the standard version.

Because racecar.

This has been your PSA of the day.

I'd really consider a 4x4 Juke with a manual when I can afford it. It's better looking than an Impreza, and probably cheaper too. Imagine a Nismo Juke with 4x4!
