I think they use the old american cars mostly for special occassions now, rather than as a daily driver.. As in the meeting in Västerås mentioned in the article, or other meetings. Even some people in parts of Norway thinks this is cool and go to Strömstad every Easter, for no obvious reason.
Very good article! You can go to pretty much any Swedish town and you will se some sort of raggare. If you're unlucky you'll only see Volvo's and A-tractors (which is a Volvo modified to be registered as a tractor). And that might be exciting enough if you've had enough beer!
