I am going for a run later this afternoon and the biggest risk I face is being stared at threateningly by a grey squirrel... (London being somewhat lacking in big cats, and all our foxes are asleep during the day). Well, that or being hit by a minicab running a red-light.

He specified ‘Easy to drive’. With the best will in the world, I don’t think you could ever describe a TVR Tuscan (or any TVR) as ‘easy to drive’.

Such a great suggestion! Only time I’ve seen an E9 was at a classic car show my brother organises each year. Lots of beautiful stuff, but the car below (which was in need of quite a lot of TLC tbh), stole my heart (well, that and an equally ratty but gorgeous 512BBi).

This is a small piece of good news, given what a phenomenal clusterfuck the UK parliament is making of the Brexit process at the moment. Practically nobody in parliament, on either the ‘leave’ or ‘remain’ sides, knows wtf they’re talking about and thanks to their arrogance and incompetence we at dire risk of sliding

This is genuinely great. I love this kind of online interaction/creativity/niceness. As someone who is currently deep down the BFV multiplayer rabbit-hole, let’s just say my online interactions are currently not quite the same...

Eeeesh, I am sorry that the women writers of Jalopnik receive such dreadful emails from some readers. (Ok, some of these emails were laugh out loud bad, but the lack of empathy behind them all is pretty depressing...)

I used to pretty regularly get ‘upgraded’ to a CLA by Avis (who I used quite a lot in my old job).

As a counterpoint to the many many fine examples of movies getting car stuff so wrong already posted, I thought it worth remembering one of the rare and beautiful occasions when they got it pretty damn right.

I haven’t seen the remake of Suspiria, so can’t comment on that, but your point about potentially getting ‘too psyched’ before seeing it is one that really spoiled a bunch of films for me.

If I remember right you could do that with lots of games. I certainly remember listening to the background music/soundtrack to Tomb Raider on a cd player waaaaay back when.

Yep, The Last of Us (and the DLC) got me in the feels on more than one occasion (including the giraffe moment obvs...).

This guy is not surprised...

Good spot! And now a good part of my Sunday will be wasted invested researching ‘olde-timey’ cameras...

This is a really interesting review. Thoughtfully written and also genuinely thought-provoking.

Hmmm, your nicely written, nuanced mini-review has failed to provide me with a definitive view of whether to get this game or not... I need simplistic advice like “Yay, it’s awesome!”, or “Boo, it sucks!”, not a considered “It has great points and crummy points, and who knows how it’s going to evolve?” kind of

Ok, I’m only really familiar with Overwatch characters, but ALL of this cosplay is epic! So cool and inspiring to see the huge amount of work people put into this.

Truly excellent review. Thank you Kirk.

That dude and dog are just fishing the heck outta that space station.

Incredibly luckily I spotted online that this was the only ending you could ‘permanently’ miss. Coincidentally, I got that ending today! Am working my way through the remaining ones now.

Nice review, and ooh, I’m excited for this for two reasons;
